Paired Teachers' Guide

Description: This teacher's guide is for two books: the fiction book Iveliz Explains it All by Andrea Beatriz Arango and the nonfiction book Hey, Kiddo by Jarrett Krosoczka. It is designed for 8th graders and focuses on emotions and coping strategies. The guide includes a pre-reading activity, a bulletin board idea, book and author information, discussion questions, and ten recommended teaching activities.
