Collection Plan

Description: This assignment provided the opportunity to explore the collection of a branch of Calvert Library in Owings, Maryland. It demonstrated the importance of analyzing the community demographics to better understand the collection needs. By looking specifically at the pre-K book collection, I determined three collection needs: increasing the number of nonfiction titles, increasing the number of post-2019 published titles, and increasing the number of non-English language titles.
